Weddings

cobblestone church signBook the oldest Cobblestone Church in North America for your wedding no matter what your religious beliefs.  If you are looking for a memorable location for your wedding then please think of the Cobblestone Church.

Located 2 miles north of Albion this National Historic Landmark is the oldest cobblestone church (1834) in North America.  Within a short walk is the Historic Tillman's Village Inn (1824) providing fine dining for receptions in a pioneer stage coach stop.  Guest accommodations may also be provided at the adjoining and charming Fair Haven Inn complex.

The interior of the Cobblestone Church, which seats 150 people, has been restored with Victorian Country character.  Original faux painted woodwork giving the illusion of natural chestnut is a charming feature. Music may be provided on a century old reed organ or an 1860's square grand piano.  The sanctuary is illuminated under the ambiance of period lighting which reflects its appearance of the 1880's.

Many couples find little need for elaborate decorations because the church speaks for itself.  If you will accept it as it is we welcome your wedding and likewise accept your wedding guests as our guests.
